What an amazing turnout! Joe and Diane had a wonderful time yesterday at the 5th annual Art of Friendship show for the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn. The young artists excelled themselves yet again, producing incredible works of art in many different mediums and all with a Shabbos theme. Bear Givers was joined this year by volunteers Maddie Stoller and Sam Leonard. Maddie will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on June 16th and is partnering with Bear Givers for her Mitzvah Project. Maddie and Sam enthusiastically interacted with the Friendship Circle members and helped with the smooth running of the event. We are very thankful to the Friendship Circle staff and volunteers, and all the artists, who made this show such a resounding success. This year’s show was dedicated to Diane’s late husband Pavel Lempert. Honoring Pavel for the esteemed individual he was, was an appropriate tribute for such a heartwarming and dedicated performance by the volunteers and children.
