The Friendship Circle of Charlotte was accompanied by Kristen of Bear Givers and Bear Givers' supporter (and former Miami Dolphins and Jets Tight End) Joe Kowalewski, as well as volunteers from ZABS Place to hand out teddy bears to the pediatric patients at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital.
You can see from the big smiles how the Bear Givers' Empowerment Program gives individuals with special needs the opportunity to give back to others, making both the givers and the receivers very happy.
