Valley Chabad- Friendship Circle
This year, the Valley Chabad Friendship Circle celebrated Purim by participating in our Empowerment Program and spreading joy to the lives of seniors in their community! Local families put together 150 care packages full of treats, activities and a signature Bear Givers bear, that were happily accepted by seniors like Niusia! Niusia is a Holocaust survivor from Poland who has felt lonely due to the pandemic. She was more than happy to receive her care package and her new cuddly friend, exclaiming “This is adorable, I can't believe it! Thank you so much for thinking of me!” The Friendship Circle members were so happy to have made such a positive impact on the lives of others. Moments like these are what make us excited to continue our mission of spreading joy through the gift of giving.
