Teddy Bear Donation to Alyn Hospital and Shaare Zedek Medical Center

We were glad to support an extraordinary initiative led by our friend and Director of Development at SINAI Schools, Pam Ennis. Pam partnered with Bear Givers and her sister-in law, Lynn Finson, to hand out Bear Givers teddy bears to children undergoing treatment at various hospitals throughout Israel. They were given in memory of a former student of Lynn Finson, who tragically passed away at a young age.

One such hospital was Alyn Hospital, a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation center in Jerusalem completely dedicated to pediatric and adolescent patients. During this visit, toddlers and teens were greeted with open arms, and not just metaphorically. In Pam and Lynn’s care, each patient received a fluffy friend, transforming the hospital environment into a haven of comfort and reassurance.

But the journey didn't end there; our beloved teddy bears also embarked on a mission of love to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. At least fifty of our furry friends found new homes in the loving arms of patients who needed them most.

It was a testament to the power of kindness, an acknowledgment that somewhere in the world, someone cares deeply for each person battling adversity. Pam, Lynn, and the Bear Givers team have woven a tapestry of warmth and reassurance that will linger in the hearts of these young patients forever.
