Kindness Project Profile

The Kindness Project expands the reach of our Empowerment Program by giving all children the opportunity to participate in the power of giving. We recognize how this action brings pride to children with and without disabilities, so we want to make sure we have a place for all to feel empowered and to experience the joy of giving! Many children are familiar with the excitement felt by receiving a gift and this program allows them to have the warm, fuzzy feeling of giving a fuzzy teddy bear to someone else! The Kindness Project encourages children to decorate teddy bears and cards to give to those in need. We look forward to partnering with schools, clubs and other groups so that the Kindness Project can have a positive impact on children everywhere.

Additionally, the Leading with Kindness Initiative was designed to support Public School students by giving them an opportunity to show kindness to others. Students take part in an activity where they research and learn more about individuals and groups in their community that they feel could benefit from a kind gesture. This program teaches kids about inclusion and acceptance in an effort to combat bullying, racism, prejudice, and antisemitism.
