Community Church of Mt. Pleasant: Teddy Bear Clinic

With our help, the Community Church of Mt. Pleasant in North Carolina was able to host a teddy bear clinic in conjunction with its most successful annual event, the Back to School Bash! It was a spectacular day, with children taking on the role of caring for their cuddly bears and learning from real-life healthcare heroes about first aid, staying healthy, and the magic of healing hugs from a teddy. Special thanks to Nurse Debbie Thomas at the Church’s Family Community Health Ministry for her dedication to giving back to those most in need.
