Alexandria-Mt. Vernon Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Leading With Kindness Project
Nothing beats witnessing young people experience the joy of giving back! We were grateful for the opportunity to facilitate the Leading With Kindness Project with the Alexandria-Mt. Vernon Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The Chapter kicked off its inaugural service activity by decorating donated Bear Givers teddys and writing supportive, uplifting messages to children and teenagers undergoing treatment at INOVA Children's Hospital in Virginia. It was a meaningful activity for the Jack and Jill youths, who each received a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of their efforts and kindness.
We would like to extend special thanks to C. Lee Cawley, Bear Givers Mid-Atlantic Liaison, for her help leading the event, as well as Angela Dorsey, Eastern Regional Chair of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., for her assistance coordinating the event. This partnership has made a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to serve. We look forward to working with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. again!
