Johns Hopkins Teddy Bear Clinic

What an amazing Teddy Bear Clinic at Johns Hopkins Children's Center! We were so happy to help celebrate Child Life month with Friends of Hopkins Children's by donating fuzzy friends to the Child Life Center for an exciting day filled with laughter and learning. Young patients were given a chance to practice medical procedures on their teddy bears, which helps them prepare for their own treatment and eases any fears and anxiety they may have. Teddy Bear Clinics are beneficial on so many levels and we would like to thank Rachel Hammer and Dr. David Hackam for helping organize this enjoyable and successful event. Thanks also go to Bear Givers board member Avigail Rosemore who connected us all together.
