Shaare Zedek Hospital: Ellie Ruby Foundation

In partnership with the Ellie Ruby Foundation we were able to work with the team at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem for a teddy bear donation! They had not received any donations since before the pandemic, so we were happy to give them some teddy bears to lift their spirits. The bears wore t-shirts decorated by local schoolchildren here in the US, and were given names and birth certificate forms before being shipped to Jerusalem, along with letters of hope and joy to the young patients of Shaare Zedek Hospital! It's incredible to see how our Empowerment Program inspires the children decorating the bears as much as those receiving the bears. The children felt enormous joy and empowerment knowing they would be bringing smiles and comfort into the lives of others in need.
