Kindness Project with P.S. 77 Lower Lab School
We jumped at the opportunity to work with P.S. 77 Lower Lab School again! Last year’s Kindness Project had such a positive impact on the school community that they asked for 64 bears and notecards to do another one this year.
Bear Givers’ Chairman and Founder, Joseph Sprung, and Executive Director, Diane Lempert, traveled to the Upper East Side in New York City to help students through a Kindness Project. They sat with the students as they spoke about the meaning of giving back.
Lower Lab School connected with 2 schools in Chinatown with about 60 students new to the country, who will receive these bears and notes from their friends at Lower Lab School.
It is very exciting to share kindness and witness the impact that Bear Givers can have on young minds – both giving and receiving.
